The Collingwood Football club, nicknamed the Magpies, is the most supported club in the AFL and one of the most supported clubs in any sport in Australia.
It has consistently attracted much higher than average crowds to its home games than other clubs in the league and interestingly, this year’s Miss World Australia, Amber Greasley, is often spotted amongst the crowd.
The Aussie brunette is a mad Collingwood supporter and was extremely excited to meet two of the club's stars: Travis Cloke and Heath Shaw on Wednesday September 14. They happily welcomed the 2011 Miss World Australia winner to the Westpac Centre.
Greasley told the media: "Meeting Travis was very exciting; I wish the boys all the best for Friday night."
Throughout its history, the club has developed a retained reputation in the national competition as the ‘team everybody loves to hate.’
