On the evening of September 30th, 2011, Miss World Philippines Gwendolyn Ruais hosted a Thanksgiving event in a penthouse at the Midas Hotel in Manilla, Philippines.
Miss World Philippines Director Cory Quirino attended the event and celebrated Thanksgiving with Gwendolyn’s special guests from around the world and her friends and family closer to home.
As the drinks flowed, the guests were serenaded with live acoustic music and a delightful speech from newly-crowned Miss Philippines Gwendolyn who thanked Cory Quirino and CQ Global Quest Inc., the GMA Network and her supporters.
Gwendolyn thanked her family for their unwavering support throughout the Pageant and promised to make her country proud by bringing home the crown.
