 | Former Miss World, model and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has signed a worldwide recording agreement with Universal Music Group and UK-based music company, Desi Hits. Priyanka’s international career will be managed by Lady Gaga’s manager and CEO of Atom Music, Troy Carter. The pop album which is currently being recorded is set to be released in 2012 and recorded in English. Trained western singer, Priyanka is “truly excited to have an opportunity to present a musical dimension on a world platform and privileged to be a part of the Universal Music and Desi Hits family and to be working with some of the most illustrious names in the music industry”. Priyanka hopes to embark on a few special musical collaborations while recording her album in the United States. |
